The Struggle is REAL…

Gym

Legit – this is how I feel!!

I have been exercising for a long time now but when I went back to school in September it took a back seat in terms of priority. Now that it is part of my list I am confessing here that I am in full on PANIC MODE!!

I know that I just have to start small to get myself back into the groove and things will be good. It is the fear of failure (and muscle pain) I think that has me FREAKING out!

My plan over the HOLIDAYS is to start getting back into it slowly – at least half an hour a day at a time that works for me. Hopefully that will be enough to have me ready for  January and more regular (probably early morning) workouts.  Wish me luck!! 🙂

Speaking of Holidays – this will be my last post for 2017! This next week and a half will be all about family time.

Before I go – I have had a few people email me or ask me if it is ok to share my journey, and to that my answer is yes, please do! The more people to make me accountable the better. If you are using the list to meet some goals this year (a couple of people have said they are) please feel free to send me an email or note (or a picture via Instagram) to let me know how your progress is going – we are all in this together!

Wishing you ALL a Happy Holiday and see you in 2018 to CRUSH some GOALS! 🙂

Hugs,

Me

  1. I’ve been there! A few years ago I was away from walking and swimming for three months due to illness. The amazing thing is how quickly your body will respond once you restart! So, no need to panic, friend. Ease yourself back in and celebrate all of the small wins. 🙂

    1. 💕 Yesterday with the program I am doing the instructor said “with Struggle comes strength” – those words resonated. Thank you for your support and I know from our conversations you are knocking your own goals out of the park – thank you for helping to inspire my list and goals!
