I took last week off from the Blog because school and work were demanding my attention ( darn school and work cutting into Blog time)! Thank you to those who reached out to check on me – so very sweet and appreciated!
So when I get stressed or overwhelmed with a lot on my plate I tend to day dream about travelling. It is safe to say that last week I went to multiple Countries in my day dreams! It got me thinking about travelling (I even wrote a paper for one of my classes about travelling and how it much like learning – BONUS Day dreaming paying off for school!) and WHY people travel?
I also thought about bucket list items; this is probably because some of my list has a travel component.
Here are a few travel related items off my list :
Book a Trip that is on my Bucket List
See the Jays play in TO and 1 other city!!
Fly 1st Class
I wasn’t joking when I said I had a HUGE bucket list when it comes to Travel! I have been travelling for many years. The travel bug is a real thing! Haha When I travel, I love getting to know the locals, understanding cultures and exploring. It never gets old for me. I can visit the same place over and over again and find new and exciting things about it. Someone once asked me where my favorite place I have been and I really have trouble answering that. I LOVE so many places for different reasons. Some places that I loved exploring though were Australia – AMAZING and I really loved Dubrovnik, Croatia because of it’s beauty, so two to add to your bucket list if you have never been!
My husband and I are currently discussing our trip for next year. We usually do a Southern vacation each year because we love the warm sun, sand and surf after our Canadian Winters. We are going to break with tradition next year though and are thinking Europe. For me it about exploring new places and being able to do this with my best friend. For him, I think he is interested in Europe because he hasn’t been yet. It will allow us to both check some things off of our bucket list. We are excited to walk through the planning process – how we will travel, where we will go, how long we will go for, what we will get to explore, etc
SO my questions to you:
1. Why do you travel?
2. What is on the top of your bucket list for travel?
3. Where have you traveled that you think should be added to everyone’s bucket list?
I love learning about other people’s travel experiences!
I will leave you with one of my favorite quotes about travel…
